Welcome to our Worldwise Education first official blog post!
There are so many great things happening at Artwork for Education that we want to share with you. Our company has grown so much since the first days in 2004 when we were printing cards out of an apartment in Boston. Now we have our own space in Long Beach, CA, but are starting to need more elbow room again.
Our success is due to YOU - the schools, teachers, parent coordinators and especially the kids. Your passion and enthusiasm for our art program has helped us become the country’s leading publisher of student-generated content.
Each year we continue to grow, adding new schools around the country. Many of you have asked us how you can get more involved and help get the word out about Artwork for Education. That’s why we’re launching our new BlogSpot and Facebook page.
So Join Us. You are at the heart of our growth and success. We want to hear from you. Tell us about some of your favorite cards, how your school used the funds you raised from the fundraiser, how your kids felt when they saw their art transformed into a high-quality greeting card that they could buy at Whole Foods…we want to hear it all!
P.S. Think Facebook is only for kids? Adults are the fastest growing age range on Facebook because they’ve had more time to build their network. Facebook allows you to connect with friends from high school and college, neighbors, colleagues, other parents, teachers, your favorite Starbucks barista, helpful librarian… You get the idea. It’s an easy way to stay in touch because all you have to do is update your own page with what you’re doing and thinking. It’s a perfect place to let friends know that your child is a published artist through Artwork for Education!
